Put the rice in a bowl and add warm water, covering it by about 10 centimeters. Let it rest for about 30 minutes. Wash the rice under running water a few times and drain to clean off the starch.
Melt the butter in a pot. When the oil gets hot, add the pistachios and fry them until they turn golden, then drain the oil and remove them.
Add the AYTAÇ - HUNGARIAN BEEF SALAMI and cook.
Add the onion. Add water until the onions become soft and then, let it simmer.
Mix by adding the pine nuts, currants, rice and seasoning, then cook for 3 minutes and turn down the heat. Seal the pot lid tightly. Cook the rice for 15 minutes at low heat.
Remove the rice from the stove. Remove the lid and cover the pot with some paper towel. Put the lid back on.
