Step-by-Step Instructions

1 Put the rice in a bowl. Add water to cover it by around 8-10 centimeters, then add water and let it sit for around 30 minutes. Wash the rice under running water a few times and drain to clean off the starch.

2 2Melt the butter in a pot. Add the olive oil. When the oil gets hot, add the pistachios and fry them until they turn golden, then drain the oil and remove them.

3 Place the AYTAÇ BEEF HAM in a pot and cook for 1-2 minutes.

4 Add the onion. Add water until the onions become soft and then, let it simmer. Once the AYTAÇ BEEF HAM gets softer, add the pine nuts, currants, rice and seasoning, and mix.

5 Simmer for 3 minutes and turn the heat down. Close the pot lid tightly. Cook the rice for 15 minutes at low heat. Remove the rice from the stove. Remove the lid and cover the pot with a paper towel. Put the lid back on.

6 After letting the rice rest like this for 20 minutes, stir with a wooden spatula, carefully, so as not to crush them.

7 Serve hot.

    100 grams of finely chopped onions

    24 grams of currants

  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

    1/2 teaspoon of ground cloves

    1/2 teaspoon of crushed cardamom
