Step-by-Step Instructions

1 Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm milk and wait until it blooms (bubbles up). Melt the butter. Put the flour in a deep kneading bowl.

2 Create a well in the middle of the flour and in this place some of the melted butter, egg, the milk with yeast, and salt – then knead.

6 Gently splash water on the edges of the dough and roll the edges of the flatbreads. Bend the sides. Line the flatbreads up on an oiled baking tray.

7 Rub the egg wash on the flatbreads. Sprinkle poppy seeds and leave to rest on the tray.

8 Cook for 20-25 minutes at 180 degrees in a pre-heated oven..
