Step-by-Step Instructions

1 Pour some water in a mid-size mixing ball to warm it up, and then discard the water. Put the yeast in the bowl and add hot water on top. Add sugar and stir with a fork, then let it rest until the yeast begins to dissolve and bubble and bloom(5-10 minutes)

2 Add 1/3 of the flour and stir with a spoon until a mass is formed and it begins the split from the edges of the bowl.

3 Sprinkle some flour on a flat surface. Take all of the flour from the bowl and knead for 8-10 minutes while sprinkling the remaining flour little by little. Make a ball from the soft and dough you have just made.

4 Make 30-gram pieces of dough.

5 Make oval-shaped sticks and leave to rest.

6 At the last stage, prepare long straight sticks.

7 Put in a widthwise direction on an oiled tray and press on the edges with your fingers.

8 Brush with egg white wash.

9 Sprinkle with sesame seeds and put in the oven.

10 Cook for 15-20 minutes at 175 degrees in a pre-heated oven.

11 After they have cooled, tightly wrap the grissini with the ham.

12 Serve.
